Clear answers before your first production.
Learn how MagicOptix works with Adobe files, how credits are counted, and what happens when your internet connection is interrupted.
01
Getting started
Template fit, setup effort, and the best way to start. Will this work with our existing Photoshop or Illustrator files?
That depends on how the files are structured. MagicOptix is strongest when templates are stable enough to map text, images, colors, and output logic. The Workflow Fit Review checks this before a rollout.
Do we need clean templates?
You do not need perfect templates, but structured and consistently named layers make setup faster and more reliable. If cleanup is needed, we identify it during the review.
Can we start with one workflow only?
Yes. That is the recommended path: validate MagicOptix on one real, repeatable workflow, measure the value, then expand only when the first use case works.
What if our workflow is too specific?
Some workflows are a strong fit, some are partial fits, and some should not be automated first. The Workflow Fit Review gives you that answer before you commit to a rollout.
How fast can we see value?
It depends on template readiness and production volume. Teams with a stable repeated workflow can often see value quickly after the first template is configured; low-volume work may not justify the setup yet.
02
Production and outputs
How MagicOptix fits into real Adobe production. Is MagicOptix for one-off creative work?
Not primarily. MagicOptix is most valuable when production repeats: product variations, campaign versions, badges, catalogs, Compose layouts, print outputs, localized assets, or recurring client deliverables.
Can outputs stay editable?
Yes. MagicOptix works with real Photoshop and Illustrator files, so supported PSD and AI outputs can remain part of an editable Adobe workflow instead of ending as flattened generated images.
Are our creative files processed in the cloud?
Normal design production runs locally on your computer through Photoshop or Illustrator. MagicOptix uses the platform for account access, plan entitlements, and credit metering; it does not need to upload your complete creative files for normal execution metering.
03
Credits and plans
What a credit represents and when it is consumed. Why credits instead of a flat per-file price?
One credit equals one successful personalized generation: one data row applied to one design template, one final Compose composition, or one final Print generation. For example, 100 rows applied to two templates require 200 credits, while routing each row to only one template requires 100. PDF, PNG, JPG, PSD or AI exports, pages, and multiple artboards are included and are never charged separately.
How many credits are included in each plan?
Freemium includes 100 lifetime credits granted once at signup. They do not expire or renew monthly. Starter includes 750 credits per month, Pro 2,000, and Enterprise 4,000. CSV and image import are included on every plan without fixed row or template limits; production is limited by the available credit balance. Compose and Print are available on every plan, while the Batch Queue remains available only on Pro and Enterprise.
Does the included design library limit our own templates?
No. Every plan includes access to up to 100 designs supplied by MagicOptix. This design library is separate from your workspace: you can import your own templates without a fixed template limit, subject to your available credits when you generate production.
Does a failed generation consume a credit?
No. MagicOptix reserves the required capacity before production, then consumes credits only for generation units reported as successful. Failed or skipped units do not consume credits.
Will pause, resume, or retry charge the same result twice?
No. A production keeps the same execution identifier and successful checkpoints. A retry resumes failed or interrupted units and updates consumption cumulatively, without charging an already successful unit twice.
Do you guarantee ROI?
No. ROI depends on production volume, manual time, error rate, and how often the workflow repeats. We help estimate the likely payback during the Workflow Fit Review.
04
Internet connection and Offline mode
What continues during a connection interruption and what stays protected.Does MagicOptix work without an internet connection?
Partially. During a short connection interruption, you can continue browsing the workspace and preparing a production. Starting or resuming a Design, Compose, Print, or batch production requires an internet connection so MagicOptix can verify access and reserve the required credits.
What happens if the connection drops during a generation?
A production that was already verified and started can finish normally. Its successful results are recorded locally and the final credit consumption is synchronized when the connection returns.
Can reconnecting charge the same production twice?
No. MagicOptix synchronizes the same unique execution identifier and uses monotonic completion records. Reconnection, repeated synchronization, pause, resume, and retry do not create a second charge for the same successful generation.
Why is there no fully offline production mode?
The online check protects your account, verifies plan permissions, and prevents inaccurate or duplicate credit consumption. Creative processing still happens locally; the connection is required to authorize new production and synchronize usage securely.
Do we need to restart MagicOptix after the connection returns?
Normally, no. MagicOptix reacts to reconnection and also checks access automatically. The Offline notice disappears after the platform confirms the session. If the session has expired or been revoked, the app asks you to sign in again instead of presenting it as an internet problem.

Workflow Fit Review
What the review covers and what comes next. What happens after the Workflow Fit Review?
You receive a clear recommendation: fit, partial fit, or no fit. If there is a strong fit, the next step is a Guided Workflow Launch for the first production workflow.
Does booking a review commit us to a subscription?
No. The review is intended to determine whether the workflow is worth automating before you commit to a broader rollout.
